Senior Situation:
Dad is now in a walker or wheelchair and we need a trustworthy contractor to make the house accessible for him.
Senior Solution from Andy Boggeri:
Whether Dad’s problem getting around is only temporary or a long-term disability, now is the time to give me a call at AB Construction. I will meet you to take a look at the house, give you my recommendations, and prepare an estimate at no charge. Dad may need a sturdy ramp to the front door, a few doorways widened, or a more accessible shower and toilet. Let’s consider adding some sturdy grab bars and a shower chair, a portable shower head, or maybe a more serious bathroom remodel makes sense. What about stairs? My team can install a chair lift for second floor access. Let’s work together to make sure the changes are beautiful enhancements to the home within Dad’s budget.
AB Construction’s goal is to deliver the homeowner’s vision. Work closely with the owner, architects, and subcontractors, we ensure that projects stay on time and within budget, while offering a clean, safe job site. All of this is accomplished with impeccable quality and craftsmanship.

ABOUT ANDY BOGGERI: Andy lives with and cares for his 99 year young Grandma, along with Glenda, his “lady friend,” as grandma calls her. Every morning he wakes up and it’s like the movie, “Groundhog Day.” Grandma always asks about the dishes, the newspaper, his dog, Bella, and about her pills. Same order. Same questions. Every single morning. And he loves it. She keeps him young and on his toes every day.
Andy Boggeri was born in San Francisco, and studied Construction Management and Technology at Diablo Valley College, in Concord. His passion for construction started at the age of 17 while building a senior deck at the local Acalanes High School for his senior project. He turned his passion into a successful construction business while also working on community-related side projects, like building the Guinness World Record’s longest teeter-totter.
Andy founded AB Construction in 1988. Andy loves what he does, and is constantly working to make people’s dreams come true and to make the impossible, possible.
In addition to his more than 25 years of construction experience he has developed a clear sense of his clients’ needs and has a keen eye for detail. These qualities shine though in his projects and in the success of his business. Andy and his team do many large projects as well as small repair jobs. Together they have wide experience in residential, commercial, and government spaces. AB Construction stands for honesty, trust, and integrity in everything they do.
Andy is a workaholic! Besides running a few successful businesses, he is very active in the East Bay community. He is a member of the Lamorinda Lions Club and the Columbo Club, volunteers for Growing Colorado (reducing hunger, improving nutrition, and providing experiential learning opportunities for refugee youth through organic farming), a board member for Notes4Hope (an awesome nonprofit that is building a community around music to support breast cancer research and prevention), and annually holds fundraisers for The Sentinels of Freedom. If he does find some downtime, Andy enjoys hanging out with his dog, Bella.
